The Interrogating-CSCF is another call service control function (CSCF). The I-CSCF
interfaces to other IMS subsystems. For incoming calls, it locates the Serving-CSCF in the home network that will handle the
call. After the S-CSCF is located, the I-CSCF is no longer part of the session path.
For outgoing calls, it locates an I-CSCF in the called party's network.
