No the patch to Asterisk does not cause problems with integration with other vendor cards.Because every card has its own software to work on.

The patch does not cause issues with other vendor’s cards. trixbox CE has added our patch to their repository. If the patch caused problems with other vendor’s cards, trixbox would not have integrated it.
