Just follow simple steps:

Goto Properties of My computer by right clicking on My computer icon on desktop->Device manager and check that driver installed for specific hardware is properly installed by clicking on the hardware and check out its drivers mention in it or not.

First click START from tool bar. Then click Control panel. Now the control panel appears. Next click the Performance and Maintenance. Now the Performance and Maintenance appears. Then click the System icon. Now the system properties dialog box appears. There go to Hardware tab. There click the Device manager. The device manager appears. Now click ‘+’ sign beside network adapters. A list of network adapter appears. There the icon beside the wireless PC card shows the driver is installed and the adapter is working. The red X through the icon shows that the adapter is not working properly. This is the way to confirm the Driver Installation
