Just perform following steps:
->First of all plug an NIC (network interface card into PCI slot of your motherboard).
->And then let the windows xp to auto detect the drivers.
->If the drivers are not automatic detected then insert cd containing driver cd and install the drivers by just giving the path of the drivers on the cd.

First insert the installation CD-ROM. Then the wireless adapter installation screen appears. Then go to NEXT to continue. After that the before continuing screen will appears. Then click NEXT. After that The End User License Agreement screen appears. Just click I agree. Then click once again NEXT. Then the select installation screen appears. After that you have to click Browse to place the installation. Then click NEXT. Now the complete installation screen appears. Just click NEXT to FINISH. Now plug in the USB Adapter to your computer port. A wireless network connection icon appears. This is the way of install a Network adapter in PC.
