Theoratically Transcoder is BTS part, I read from two or three books, so it is proof. My answer is why...???

It is a part of BTS the compression of voice channels is done at the site so transmission costs can be reduced.

may be they used term there because of reduction of terrestial interfaces because that purpose we can use it with BTS but i have seen TC with MSC as well as with BSC.

I think you do not understand my question.

My question is : Why TC is theoraticaly BTS part not practical.

I know practicaly it is along with M.Sc or B.Sc.

Well folk we can can't say that transcoder is a part of BTS alone.It depends upon the interface that is being used, it could be a part of MSC or BSC.We can use TC interchangeably with BSC and MSC.
