Open the My computer properties
And click on computer name
then here is option to change workgroup name
u can change workgroup name.

Go to Performance and maintenance menu in control panel . Click System. system properties dialog box appears in that computer name tab and click change and then click the workgroup field and edit the workgroup name and click ok
Windows accept the new work group name.The new workgroup name will work by restarting your computer

you can Go to->System Properties->computer tab->change->work group field and edit work group name and click ok.
And reboot system.
