There are five types of queries, they are
(1) Free text meaning single words or a group of words, such a sentence finds documents with the same meaning, and not exactly the exact sentence.
(2) Phrase a phrase in a document like quotes to locate the exact phrase.
(3)Pattern matching like wildcards with asterisks tells to search for files that contain patterns
(4) Relational. Your words Plus Boolean Operators such as And, Or, Not, Near, and =.
(5)Vector space your words or Phrase and decide how much “weight” you want each of the words or phrase to be assigned.
