Friends I have a doubt that, after trying to log in to a workstation for a third time, a user finds they're locked out of the system and can't make any more attempts. What's the most likely problem?

To prevent an unauthorized user from hacking into an account on a specific host, an intrusion detection system can limit the amount of unsuccessful attempts at trying to log in with a specific account. Once the limit is reached, the account is disabled and can only be enabled by an administrator.
