# This is a Class A address.

# 16 bits were stolen from the host field.

# The default mask for this address is 255.0.0.0.

# The mask can also be written as 255.255.255.0.

# The mask creates 65,536 subnets total from the default address space.

# Each subnet supports 254 valid hosts IPs.

Basically belongs to Class A address but sub netted.

this 10.8.8.0 /24 means its subneted IP address and as per default class is "A" but subneted address. its mask is 255.255.255.0

its belong to class A but subneted and another thing if it is ip address for any host then its not valid ip as all host bits are zero, which is not allowed.
