A distance-to-radius (D/R) ratio is a parameter used to describe the reuse factor for a wireless system. The D/R ratio for any wireless system determines the reuse factor as welt as the distance between the reusing cell sites and of course the radii of the serv¬ing cell sires. Its nothing but the geographical distance that is required between the calls using identical frequency to avoid interference between the radio transmissions of the cells.
