DHCP is used to assign IP address dynamically to PC's in the network when they on.
This give a great benifit when Ip address are limited .

DHCP is basically dynamic host control/Configuration protocol is basically have the pool of ip addresses of given IP address range and it assign at PC's automatically.Through it we make our network more easy and flexible as well in some conditions

DHCP is a dynamic host configuration protocol which dynamically assigns an ip address instead of static by creating a pool of ip address when configuring DHCP.

DHCP is simply a protocol which is used for assigning IP address,subnetand Default gateway dynamically to client system.
how it works??
simply when aclint system boot up it just request
from DHCP server.
DHCP assigns IP address from its pool.
