1 Both users must be using XP or operating system
2 Both users must have outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, or Windows Messenger.
3 Both users must be connected to the internet
4 Both users, if also a part of local area networks (LAN), must have permission to use Remote Assistance from their network administrators
5 Both users must be willing to participate in the Remote Assistance session.

• Have your supervisor request and purchase a windows terminal server client access license from the ITCRC.
• High speed internet connection, DSL or cable modem. Not provided by Food Lion.
• Home PC running Windows 2000 / Windows XP or higher.
• Running Windows Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher.
• Security settings on Internet Explorer set to default as they are from the factory.
• Computer is up to date with all Microsoft patches. You can do this by turning on Automatic Updates.
