sir uses a Mac and has been able to access wireless internet just fine with ... reduced me to tears. i would appreciate any help so so much thankyou.

Go to wireless connection dialogue box and click change advanced settings .wireless network connection properties dialog box appears in that press wireless network tab select the network from preferred network list and click properties and select shared if the network uses a network key for authentication and click ok.close the window .in this way you can configure it.
