Title: Rf transmission leakage mitigator, method of mitigating an rf transmission leakage and cdma tranceiver employing the same
Abstract: The present invention provides an RF transmission leakage mitigator for use with a full-duplex, wireless transceiver. In one embodiment, the RF transmission leakage mitigator includes an inversion generator configured to provide an RF transmission inversion signal of an interfering transceiver RF transmission to a receiving portion of the transceiver thereby creating a residual leakage signal. Additionally, the RF transmission leakage mitigator also includes a residual processor coupled to the inversion generator and configured to adjust the RF transmission inversion signal of the interfering transceiver RF transmission based on reducing the residual leakage signal to a specified level. The modulated RF signal is suplied to alinera RF amplifier,The amount of amplification a mobile radio provides is determined by the received signal level and commands received from the base station. The RF power levels of each communication channel within a BS transmitted signal is usually equally set.Mobile stations (MS) are the link between the customer and the wireless network. Mobile stations must provide a method for the customer to control the phone and display the operating status.Phones must also sample and process audio signals, transmit and receive radio signals via an RF section and obtain energy to operate the complex electronics, typically from a battery. The basic parts of a mobile phone include>
*Man-machine interface(display and keypad)
*Radio frequency section
*Signal processing (audio and logic)
*Power supply/battery
Mobile stations may be mobile radios mounted in motor vehicles, transportable radios(mobile radios configured with batteries for out-of-the-car use),or self-contained portable units. The official name of a mobile telephone from the CDMA industry standard specification is "Mobile Station" .
In addition to the key assenblies contained in amobile phone, accessories must be available that include battery charges, hands free assemblies and data adapters. These accessories must work together with the mobile phone as a system. For example, when a portable mobile phone is connected to a hands free accessory, the mobile phone must sense the accessory is connected, sidable its microphone.
