In general vswr is normally 1 but 1.3 and 1.7 is use in Telenor useing NSN.

If you go by theory Source Impedance should be equal to Load impedance, then maximum power gest transferred from source to load. but ideally this is not the case so some power will be reflected back to source. Which will result in standing waves in transmission line. So VSWR should be ideally 1.

VSWR is a voltage standing wave ratio. it indicates the mismatch between load impedance and source impedance. If you go by theory Source Impedance should be equal to Load impedance, then maximum power gest transferred from source to load. but ideally this is not the case so some power will be reflected back to source. Which will result in standing waves in transmission line. So VSWR should be ideally 1. What is allowed may vary from operator to opeartor. So ideal value should be near to 1. We allow 1.17

VSWR(Voltage standing wave ratio) & for general ideal value would be 1 but for huawei bts it would be 1.4.
