BRI. The consumer-grade level of ISDN service, A HHJ consists of two B channels of 64 Kbps per channel. The two channels can be used in aggregate, or each channel can be dedicated to a specific application. A BRI also includes a D channel, which is a 16 Kbps channel used strictly by the carrier to manage services over the BRI line.
