sipx-wiki.calivia.com/.../Configuring_phones_for_SIP_environments
Posted by crouse Its a simple host address format:
URLs used as address data format; examples:
sip:jiri@iptel.org
sip:voicemail@iptel.org?subject=callme
Sip:sales@hotel.xy; geo.position=48.54_-123.84_120
Must include host, may include user name, port number, parameters, etc Posted by sagitraz The Proxy Server that manages the Host is part of the address. I can direct a SIP transaction to “SIP://john.baker@18.131.117.4” because I can tell from his address that his SIP Proxy is at IP address 18.131.117.4. Once I send my request to the Proxy at that address, it is up to the Proxy to complete the transaction. Posted by alaxander |
