T1 is a high speed digital network (1.544 mbps) developed by AT&T in 1957 and implemented in the early 1960's to support long-haul pulse-code modulation (PCM) voice transmission.

DS-1 classified as High Capacity Special Access Services that provide dedicated, high-speed, point-to-point facilities capable of transmitting multiple streams of information.

Digital Signaling 1 is the data stream of 1.544 mbps and in any organization we use T1 of data rate 1.544 mbps

DS1 is basically a data stream of 1.54Mbps & for organization point of view we used T1.
