Mobility management is use for managing the location or mobility of the subscriber. Without mobility management network will not know where is the subscriber present and it has to search the whole network. to avoid that we use VLR visitor location register for managing the subscriber's location present in that area, it is present in the MSC. whenever terminated call comes VLR will give the exact location of the subscriber.
