There are 64 Walsh code, each heving a of length 64 bits used in CDMA systems. On the forward link, walsh codes are used to separate the channels. The reverse link channel generation uses the WC for orthogonal modulation.also known as orthogonal signaling.Orthogonal describes the property of the code where the addition of each does not create interference to other codes. However,in multi-path environment, perfect orthogonality is difficult to achieve.
