Yoigo is the fourth mobile phone operator with a network of its own in Spain. They operate a UMTS/3G network, which at their launch in December 2006 had very limited UMTS (3G) coverage even in some of the largest cities. In places where there is no UMTS coverage, Yoigo users switch to national roaming using Vodafone Spain's GSM network.

Orange España is a mobile network operator in Spain. It was previously known as Amena (pleasant in an amusing way in Spanish) until 2005, when it was bought by France Télécom. Its competitors are Movistar, Vodafone Spain and Yoigo. France Telecom gave the name of their cellphone brand to Amena.

Vodafone Spain, part of the Vodafone Group is a mobile operator in Spain.The network went live in 1995. Its headquarters are in Alcobendas, a town near Madrid. Vodafone is the second biggest cellphone carrier in Spain (by customer number) with 14 million.

Movistar is a major mobile phone operator owned by Telefónica Móviles. It operates in Spain and in many Latin American countries. Many Movistar networks were acquired from BellSouth.

As the first private mobile operator in Slovenia, Si.mobil presented its services to the users in March 1999. Thus, competition started to develop in the Slovene telecommunications market. The prices of services and mobile phones started to fall, quality grew and mobile telephony became accessible to all users. Among the customers, Si.mobil is recognized as an operator that offers quality services worth their price. It was the first in Slovenia to present and offer its users the GPRS, WAP and MMS services.

Mobitel is a Slovenian mobile telecommunications operator spreading the use of mobile telecommunications in Slovenia with state-of-the-art technology and service solutions, many of which are the result of the company in-house development. T-Mobile entered the Slovak market in May 2005, when it acquired EuroTel Bratislava, and renamed it T-Mobile Slovensko. T-Mobile Slovensko is a subsidiary of Slovak Telekom, which is a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. The company has the same GSM coverage as Orange Slovensko in Slovakia. A third provider, Telefónica O2 Slovakia, obtained license in October 2006 and launched commercial service in February 2007, and launched the country's first 3G network in January 2006 in the centre of the capital city, Bratislava.

Orange Slovensko is a member of the global communications group Orange. The Orange Group operates in 19 countries of the world and currently serves almost 44 million customers. Orange owns majority shares in France, Great Britain, Belgium, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Romania, Denmark, Slovakia, Ivory Coast, Dominican Republic, Cameroon, Botswana, Madagascar, Moldova (see Orange Moldova) and Spain (previously Amena). It holds minority shares in Portugal, Austria, Thailand, Egypt, Poland and Lebanon. The majority owner of Orange SA is the French telecommunications company France Telecom.

Vip mobile d.o.o. is a private mobile operator, the owner of the third mobile telephony license in Serbia for GSM and UMTS networks. It is a member of mobilkom austria group, which caters for more than 15.4 million satisfied users across eight countries in the region.
