Acme Packet Net-Net Session Director and Net-Net Session Router-- High performance, high capacity SIP router and media flow control engine that optimally delivers premium interactive communications across wireline, wireless and cable IP networks. Security features include network access control with firewall pinholes created only for authorized media flows, and network topology hiding via double network address and port translations. A SIP Back-to-Back User Agent further secures signaling messages and a MGCP proxy/NAT features.

In May 2000 the UK government awarded five licences to run third generation wireless services. The largest of these licenses was set aside for a new entrant in order to increase competition in the market and included a guaranteed roaming agreement. Hutchison 3G (now 3) acquired this licence and at the lowest cost. PEOPLEnet is a relatively new mobile operator in Ukraine launched commercially in February 2007 by Telesystemy Ukrainy, becoming the first wireless network in Ukraine to offer 3G services (1xEV-DO standard). The operator has said it will have invested a total of US$180 million in network development by the end of 2007.
