Once spammer’s get a hold of your e-mail address, they’ll never let go. They’ll continue to send spam from all over the world, and circulate your address to other
1) Get a Hotmail account from http://www.hotmail.com and select the email that are spam or do a spam filter. Apply the same in Google and Yahoo.
2) You can also use the Block Sender command. When spam comes in, add the spammer to the Blocked Senders list, and if any more e-mail comes from that particular e-mail address, you won’t receive it in your inbox
3) Tell friends and family not-to share your address with anyone else.
4) If you join a newsgroup, use your Hotmail address, or use your real one and include words such as REMOVETHIS, NOSPAM, or something similar in the message that you send to join the newsgroup.
5) Don’t unsubscribe from spam messages-by doing so, you just let the spammers know your address is a working one.
6) To add a sender to the Blocked Senders list Open Outlook Express > select the message deemed spam > Click Message | Block Sender > Click yes to verify and to remove all messages from the sender >If you accidentally block a sender tab, and uncheck any sender you no longer wish to block. Click OK.
