Indeed, with IMS and due to SIP, we can have too many telecommunication services, it doesn't depend where we are neither what device we are using. You can imagine a service where you want to receive your calls on your soft phone at work, and on your mobile when you're out and on your fixed line at home. this is possible due to PRESENCE service, which we cannot have without SIP. Moreover, with SIP telecommunications services development becomes open you just need to imagine a service that you think you can sold, then you have on your hands all the tools you need to do that.
