The User has moved to a conference room on a different proxy nareshkumar 26-June-2008 01:39:51 PMComments The above answer is right follow. Posted by HamidAliKhan The Location Server does not know where the User is so the Redirect Server returns a number of possible locations. The Proxy server then tries successive entries on the list until it meets a success. It then returns the Information to the UAC who communicates directly with the new Proxy Server or UAS. (Not all Proxies have this capability). • 1. Invite - UAC sends request to the UAS’s Proxy Server • 2. Moved - The User has moved to another Proxy Server. The Redirect Server returns a a list of possible addresses to the Proxy Server • 3. Proxy Server - Proxy tries invites to successive proxies from the list • 4. Invite to New Proxy - Each Proxy returns a failure response (Cancel) until the Old Proxy reaches the one where the User is logged in • 5. Call complete - to through new Proxy. The User now communicates either with the New Proxy or directly with the UAS Posted by george99 |
