Consider UAS has left their desk and forwarded to another phone. They have been registered as being at the other phone nareshkumar 26-June-2008 01:38:13 PMComments www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=186686.5330;wap Posted by crouse www.sierrawireless.com/support/faq/faq_ac510.aspx Posted by crouse 1. The UAC sends an invite that includes the address of the UAS at the location that the UAC expects her to be at. 2. The Proxy forwards the invite to the UAC phone, but the UAC phone sends back a notice saying the UAC is not present at that phone. 3. The Proxy goes to a Location Server to try to find out where the callee might have moved to. Since the callee is registered at the other phone and that phone is on the same Proxy, the new location might be no more than the IP address of the other phone. 4. The Proxy completes the call to the new location without further interruption of the call flow. The other phone sends a response. As soon as it receives an Ack from the UAS, the two can start talking. Posted by george99 |
