The User has moved to a conference room on a different proxy, Can some one explain the call flow between UAC, UAS, Proxy and location Server when user logs in using softphone from conference room? nareshkumar 18-June-2008 12:33:27 PMComments www.connectnz.co.nz/documents/SIP_for_Dummies.pdf Posted by crouse www1.avaya.com/pc/SIP_for_Dummies.pdf Posted by crouse Assuming He has logged into a SIP Softphone in the conference room and that phone has registered his new location with a location server. When the Proxy gets back a (302) Moved response, it goes to the Location Server to find out where the user moved to. 1. Invite - UAC sends request to the UAS’s Proxy Server 2. Moved - The User is temporarily at another phone 3. Location Server - The Proxy Server goes to a Location Server to find out what Proxy the User has moved to 4. Call complete - The invite is started again (with the same Cseq number) to where the user is now. User responds Posted by yogendra |
