Public Service Telephone Company was incorporated on March 30, 1954, with the home office in Reynolds, Taylor County, Georgia. Up until that time, the five exchanges were known as the Reynolds Telephone Company , the Roberta Telephone Company, the Lizella Telephone Company, the Butler Telephone Company and the Culloden Telephone Company.
