CCI’s founders, James Klungness and Charles Henry, began their cable television careers in 1955 with the development of a Community Access Television System (CATV) in Iron Mountain, Michigan. This system expanded over the next 30 years. As CCI designed and built the cable systems, they gained enough experience and knowledge to become an industry leader in the design, construction, and maintenance of broadband communications systems. As the broadband industry grew, CCI became known as the expert rollouts of new technologies. This tradition of high standards and excellence of execution still remains today.
