Alacritech, Inc., led by industry visionary Larry Boucher, began in 1997 to provide data acceleration solutions that enable the highest performance and efficiency in networked systems. After conceiving the idea of the SCSI interface and writing its initial specifications, Boucher conducted early work that led to the development of SCSI over Ethernet.
