The company was founded in 1994, and staged its first international product launch in 1997. Envox Americas was established in 1998. A second round of financing was completed in January 2003. In April 2002, Envox Worldwide took an important step in reinforcing the company's position in the market with its acquisition of Show N Tel, an open, standards-based software development environment for converged communication solutions, from Sonexis.
