NEFCOM Internet is one of a group of companies under the NEFCOM parent organization that was formed in July 1996 to give Baker County residents access to a wide range of communications services from a single source. John MAgner, Charlie STenger, and Tom ORtbal (MASTOR) partnered in 1991 to form the company. These partners became incorporated and dwelt amongst the "secondary market." While NU-Telecom provides services to several communities, our home office is in New Ulm, Minnesota. We also have three subsidiaries: one serving Springfield and Sanborn, MN, formerly known as Western Telephone Company, and one in Aurelia, Iowa formerly known as Peoples Telephone Company. In June 2002 we opened another office, in Redwood Falls, MN.
