Walchand College of Engineering is situated midway between Sangli and Miraj cities at Vishrambaug, Sangli. The WCE campus is located on nearly 102.50 acres of land on the southern side of Sangli – Miraj road. In 1947, college made a modest beginning with Civil Engineering undergraduate course. (B.E. Civil), with an intake capacity of 60. Subsequently undergraduate courses in electrical and mechanical engineering, B.E.(Elec) and B.E.(Mech), with intake capacity of 60 each were introduced during the years 1950 and 1951 respectively.

Surrounded on two sides by the historical Deepor Beel (a huge natural Wetland now declared a bird sanctuary by the Govt. of India) and ever –green hills on the outskirts of Guwahati city, about 13 km on the west, Assam Engineering College spells a magical impact on the visitors. Assam Engineering College was established in 1955, the first undergrad uate engineering college in the northeastern India. It started with Civil Engineering discipline, and within a few years other departments came into existence. With a well spread out lush green campus, AEC has been the hub centre of many intellectual and extra-curricular activities in Assam for almost half a century.

Mandsaur Institute of Technology (MIT) was established in the city of Mandsaur in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India in the year 1996. MIT is managed by a Board of Governors with Mr. Narendra Nahata as its chairman. Shri Narendra Nahata is an ex-cabinet minister of Government of Madhya Pradesh and is credited to give new dimensions to technical education in Madhya Pradesh.

Established in 1985, Pune Vidhyarthi Griha's College of Engineering and Technology, an affiliate to the University of Pune and accredited 'A' by NAAC is one of the reputed engineering colleges in India. College provides courses on Engineering disciplines and offers some of the most advanced platform and infrastructure to its students.

Established in the year 1969, the Mandal has been serving the sacred cause of education in the remote, adivasi part of the State of Maharashtra. Though the juridiction of the Mandal is the entire Maharashtra, it has concentrated on the Shahada tahasil of the State and this tahasil is 450 kilometers away from the state capital (Mumbai), adjoining the borders of the Gujrat State to the North side the M.P. to the East. This area is mainly populated with the economically & socially backward, poor peasants & the landless adivasis. To educate the young generation of such poor section of society, the Mandal has been conducting Colleges of Arts, Commerce, Science, Education (Degree & Diploma), Engineering streams and Polytechnic, Industrial Training Center, Pharmacy (Degree & Diploma), Horticulture,Institute of Business Management and Reasearch, Advanced Study Center of English and Indian Languages are the other units which the Mandal conducts.
